“Ready-to-be-sterilized” components are intended to be directly introduced into controlled environments and to undergo a steam sterilization process by autoclaving before being introduced into the aseptic process.

Therefore, the components have to be processed in order to assure lowest contamination levels in terms of particulate and microbial contamination.
